1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Cortex AI application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cortex AI is a multi-provider AI chat assistant that allows users to interact with various AI language models. The App provides access to AI-generated responses, web search capabilities, scheduled prompts, and other features as described in the App.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions with weekly, monthly, and yearly billing options.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Credit packages are one-time purchases and are non-refundable.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' data.
• Use the service for any form of automated data collection or scraping.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI responses are generated by third-party language models and may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date. You acknowledge that AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content and AI responses), is owned by Cortex AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create using the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cortex AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
